An open, lively place inspired by the old Vermont public houses and ski life style, which were more often than not located in barns—a community’s largest structure. These events were served by the local community, offering only those comfort foods and familiar drinks that were local favorites
The interiors will draw inspiration from the open floorplan of barns found throughout the mountainous landscape of Vermont and the storied skiing history of Stowe to be the ultimate ski bar: rustic painted facades, well-worn boards, metal corrugated roof lines, and surprising found elements within. Casual, fun, and straight forward is the name of the game
Food & Beverage Concept Development
Good food. Good friends. Good spirits.
This indoor/outdoor hangout will feel like gathering at a relaxed down-home picnic, complete with indoor smoker. Guests will place an order at the counter, grab a beer from the old kitchen sink filled with ice, and pick a seat at the communal table—dining in classic American style. The food program will be take-out and delivery friendly. The whiskey and beer-focused beverage program will offer frozen drinks, a 12-15 seat bar, and a few TVs. Communal games like ring swing, pop-a-shot, and pinball will enliven the space.
