A homage to the experience of the artist and the imagination, Tratto is unified by motifs related to drawing. Brushstrokes and line sketches characterize the collateral, culminating in a cohesive experience that celebrates the creative impulses each of us possess.
The name is also a nod to Trattoria, the Italian word for a restaurant serving simple and delicious food.
Food & Beverage Concept Development
In this lively neighborhood joint, we’re serving up new Italian dishes and libations. Reflective of the vibrant urban tenderloin community, this casual eatery acts as a haven for all walks of life–artists, theater-goers, techies, business professionals, and tourists thirsty for a quintessential San Francisco experience. This social hub combines the conviviality of the Italian ‘taverna’ with the relaxed yet sophisticated vibe of a good friend’s intimate dinner party.
Day or night, the chef’s signature small plates and aperitivos are shared amongst friends prior to the main event orentrée. Fresh, local ingredients reign supreme in every dish, and seasonality shines through nightly specials concocted at the chef’s whim.
