Drawing from Chicago’s rich beer history, the restaurant’s new central bar showcases a wide selection of local and craft beers, and an upscale pub menu that hints at Chicago’s European roots. Vibrant and inviting, the bar offers a space that celebrates the American practice of a Sunday afternoon beer.
New operable windows allow for an open, airy atmosphere with a modern framework that is inspired by mid-19th century architectural elements. Historic references from Chicago’s Beer Riots fused into a fresh and modern setting provides revelers local context in a familiar environment. The result is a bar with a neighborhood vibe and sophisticated offerings.

A quintessential tap house experience, masterfully blending Midwestern influenced gastro-fare that pairs perfectly with neighborhood charm and a menu featuring shared plates, salads, sandwiches, and a Sunday rotisserie supper.
Brand & Identity Development
The Branding + Identity was inspired from the restaurant’s Interior Design channeling Chicago’s rich beer history. The brand mark developed nods to the Chicago’s beer packing cart stamp popular at the turn ofthe 19th century and through prohibition. Dark authentic textures and materials for the menu, check presenters, and tableware are mixed with fitted clean lines for the uniforms.
Historic references are fused into a fresh and modern setting, providing revelers local context in a familiar environment. The results are an identity that feels in the neighborhood with sophisticated offerings.
