The Loyalist Speakeasy

Interior Design/F&B Concept

Boston, Massachusetts

Hidden from view, Loyalist Speakeasy draws on Boston's long tradition of dissent, debate, and conviviality. The city's taverns once served as informal meeting rooms where alliances formed, ideas circulated, and plans took shape over strong drink. That independent spirit informs an intimate bar designed for late-night conversation and guests willing to look beyond the obvious.

The concept takes its cue from the Loyall Nine, an early group of Boston patriots that preceded the Sons of Liberty. Dark woods, burnished metals, low light, and a concealed entrance create a sense of discovery while keeping the experience refined and contemporary. The result is private, atmospheric, and distinctly connected to Boston's rebellious history

Beverage Concept Development

Inspired by Boston's rebellious past, the beverage program brings together thoughtfully executed classics and contemporary interpretations. House infusions, premium spirits, and carefully selected ingredients support a menu grounded in tradition and sharpened by modern technique. Each drink is precise, expressive, and suited to the intimate character of the space.
