Take a step away from the ordinary and toward the excitement of Central California’s Monterey Bay. The client wanted to renovate their lobby and bar to coincide with the newly-built convention center next door and wanted RoseBernard Studio to lead the design.
The atrium welcomes guests with a renovated entry, lobby and bar experience. A clear sense of place is evoked with materials inspired by the weathered wood from nearby docks, canneries, clear blue water, natural light and live trees. Modern furnishings, locally inspired materials and augmented lighting invite guests to explore the space in this unique nautical-inspired hotel.
