Known the world over for its varied and delicious cuisine, Italy is made up of 20 individual regions, with each contributing distinct cuisine. None can boast a more diverse and interesting blend of flavors and styles than Piedmont and the Italian Riviera. Many of Italy’s very best cuts of meat, cheeses, truffles, and vegetables hail from the mountains of Piedmont.

Piedmont beef, sometimes called the Italian Wagyu, has been known for generations as some of the best in the world. With its position in the foot-hills of the Alps, Piedmont also produces unique crops such as sweet hazelnuts and Arborio rice-perfect for risottos. Relying less on red sauce and olive oil, the region is known for braised meat dishes, fragrant risottos and pastas flavored with local truffles.
